Wayne: Janice has already corrected your last post: Message 3078787 But, seriously, nobody here is throwing stones. We just happen to be language freaks and enjoy talking about linguistic matters. Some of us savor words and phrases the way an oenophile savors a fine wine. We do decry the current lack of interest in these things and the subsequent loss of formerly higher standards of spelling and grammar. We understand that many grew up in the TV era and as such haven't been exposed to reading as much as older folks. We certainly have plenty to argue about among ourselves, and we hope to learn some things while having fun. So don't take offense. I don't think any was meant. Jack
