We bought a new electric golf cart yesterday.
Like our last, this one is utilitarian and not rigged for golfing.

Unlike our last, it is rigged and approved for day and night road use in NC.

We were able to get liability insurance and register it at DMV and were issued a license plate.
No inspection necessary at least not yet.

It has a 25-30 mile range on one charge. (better than I expected).
Top speed is about 25 MPH but slower uphill.

One of the best uses of our old was in teaching our grandkids some driving and parking basics.
That will continue. I used it a few times weekly to move yard, garden supplies and produce around. That was our original intent.
