"Smart Money" recommends 5 sectors for '98, one of them being leisure products. Their recommendations in leisure products are as follows:

Mattel - selling at 20x expected '98 earnings with 3-5 yr growth rate of 15%

Action Performance - selling at 20X expected '98 earnings with 3-5 year growth rate of 30%. Action focuses on NASCAR collectibles. NASCAR is fastest growing spectator sport. NASCAR licensed goods (to all companies) has grown from $60 M to $750M from 1990 to 1996.

Now lets look at Radica (not on Smart money list) - selling at about
6X '98 earnings with 1 yr earnings growth of about 100% and 3-5 yr growth most likely well over 30%. If it were priced similar to the Smart Money recommendations it should triple (not saying that will be the case, just an indication of relative value)..... and the NASCAR deal for Radica bodes very well.

Imo, its only a matter of time - be it the toy show next week or pre-earnings runup in Feb - or analyst coverage - or newsletter coverage.

All imo,
Gary
