| | | (1) a few good things about truth, i instil in my kids, is that at least truth ...
(1-i) easier to remember than a series of inevitably contradictory lies over time
(1-ii) does not have to be reconciled as would lying-generated inconsistencies that require tee-ing up of more untruths
(1-iii) easier to prove than lies, therefore easier to interpret if at all necessary and usually not necessary
(1-iv) does not generate internal anger when challenged, as would the absurdity of lies invite challenges that leads to anger
(1-v) leads to better decisioning
(1-vi) tells
(2) am on track in my start-2012 tuition of the local police department and four officers on a tour of discovery w/r to truth vs lies, and the consequences of telling untruths and doing acts in accordance w/ untruths, and attempting to cover the telling of untruths and acts in accordance w/ untruths, and leaving too many tails of lies caught - they shall never ever again do what they did is my goal, for a better hong kong
also using the example to not only protect the future of hong kong resident kids including my two, but also to teach them right vs wrong, how to fight back and when, strategy vs tactics, positioning, etc etc
the 4.5 years passion is bearing fruits, and coming into the interim conclusion that shall hopefully lead straight to a cleaning up of the police dept along w/ the doj and the judiciary
how does the macdonald's jingo go? am loving it :0) |
