There will be revolt. No doubt about it. It isn't a "result" of Trump; Trump is a symptom of some people become tired of the current trajectory. And a lot of us understand the numbers. If you don't have a tax revolt, the alternative is far worse -- which is currency debasement at an ever-increasing pace. My hope would be that the people will rise up before debasement reaches critical mass. The Left, collectively, are defined by economic ignorance. More than any other thing, you fail to understand the essential economic concepts that keep a country afloat. We are now, perhaps, 15-20 years from the intensification of pressure to the point where something has to be done. If that. Hope I'm still around to see it.
