The reason I think that Tech is a short mainly is because it is heavily overweighted in managed accounts. When the selling starts, there are no buyers. ORCL is a prime expample.

I also think that the Asain situation will pull growth arround the world down severly. Some think that Korea will heal itself in 3-6 months, I thnk it will take atleast 18 months to 3 years.
Notice the Japaneses market still has not recovered. It took 12-18 months for Japan to effect the US in 1989 and 1990. End result, A war broke out. I am not trying to link the Niki and the Gulf war, only noting that they occured onw after the other.

Technology is something like 50% of the market cap.
Technology less than 10 % of GDP believe it or not.
That is an imbalance that I do not think will continue.
