Yes, we had problems with the jihadism of radical Shi’a clergy and the KGB supported communist Tudeh party, but Iranians were moving in the right direction as a member of the international community, with equal rights for women, free education K through PhD, a secular justice system, a vibrant economy, and a self-confident society. Minister Mohammed Mossadegh was the first Iranian to earn & recieve a PHD in Law/Jurisprudence from European University and represented that secular shift. That he was viewed as an ultra Iranian nationalist why he was viewed negatively & was removed by our direct involvement & manipulation. We did no less in Cuba & especially Vietnam. Ho Chi Min was a nationalist first who on many occasions entreated the US to recognize the sovereignity of Vietnam. Our solution was to drive him into the waiting hands of the communists when stupidly we sided albeit reluctantly with the French. your selective quotes do nothing to change the facts, history is right there as well as resulting history, too much reality for you to handle,i know.
