We have already seen many of Karl Marx's ideas on the inherent unfairness of struggle between working class & capitalists prevail, both here & Canada. You just have to refer back to working conditions at the turn of last century & compare to now.

So lets back up a bit, the brutality of Russia's century or so of atheism was preceded by centuries of brutal religiosity. Neither argument for or against religion being the causality for the violence in the human condition can be proven, or disproved, using Russia's official atheism during it's communist years. One may as well pit one iteration of the Black Death against another.

Pure pragmatism pitted against fanatical delusion: can there be a moral winner?
