All, DISH got some positive press on CNBC today.. A discussion of how Echostar stacked up against DBS competition. Echostar should do very well because it has more frequencies reserved than competition, resulting in the ability to provide more diverse services down the road. With regard to TV specifically, DISH is expecting to provide local stations soon, thus overcoming the one advantage that cable still had. Some discussion over the circumstances in which FCC regulations allow DBS to provide local stations to consumers; clarification on these regs is forthcoming, probably in DISH's favor. Nothing really new was mentioned that hasn't already been discussed on this thread, but it's good to see DISH getting some attention. Hopefully this'll help the stock back up. DOM
