I agree. Know of any current developments?

I have been looking into a private investment that purportedly "adds" bandwidth by extending the two-dimensional view of a signal into three dimensions by exploiting the polarization of the electromagnetic carrier to allow several signals to be broadcast over a single frequency (not compression, WDM or multiplexing). This also allows lower transmission power due to significantly reduced noise levels. (This conversely extends the reach at a given transmission power).

<..As far as "never". Never say never. :-)>

You may note that I RARELY do. And I usually qualify (eg., ".. never "really" take off..")

(Usually) conservatively yours,

Steve
