Hope a few die hards check this board every now and then, I look a couple times of year. Hope all my old friends are well, especially the two I actually met, Flack and shoreco. Looks like the 200,000 posts milestone is going to take a while.
The reason for this post is the mystery of what happened to DrBob. I wonder about it when I look at the board. As I recall many of us believed he had passed away, and I hardly knew him well, others here had much more contact with him.
There is a house in Huntington Beach, CA associated with stocktimers.com. I seem to recall it may have been known he lived there. Near the time he disappeared from the board, this house went into foreclosure (7/1/09).
That's a lot of stress and not great for anyone's health . I may be wrong about the foreclosure being his, he always seemed in good spirits (nice guy), I think he was a psychologist or psychiatrist, seemed like a wise investor, and does not appear to have the profile of someone who would face foreclosure. But it was 2009?
To the best of my memory, which is not great, it was never quite resolved as to what happened to DrBob. If anyone knows would like to hear from you. And I do do like seeing the occasional post from all of you.
