We didn't escape the Cuban missile crisis because of the Kennedys. We escaped it because we had MUCH better technology than the Russians in ALL facets of war at that time. We had better nukes, better delivery systems including missiles, better surface navy and MUCH better subservice navy with our submarines. The reason things are different NOW is that Russia isn't ruled by the consensus of a group or "politburo" anymore. It's ruled by ONE MAN. And that one man can start WWII if he wants to. The U.S. needs a VERY STEADY HAND right now and Hillary and Bill Clinton may just be Arkansas "white trash" but Internationally they are held in high regard and THEY are the people we should have in the White House in these times.
