Just an observation heading into earnings later today. In the last quarter's conference call Brad and Tom said they would institute a hiring freeze and cut back on nonessential spending, including a cut to a research program Tom was "bummed" about having to do. My scans of the job postings and twitter feeds shows they have been actively hiring again for the last month, and they recently joined OIF, ONF and AIM Photonics - all research programs joined last month. The question being: would they have done the things they said they wouldn't do if they were about to tank another quarter? My spidey sense tells me they may have just turned the page. We'll find out for sure in a few short hours.
