To bad, like you, Ryan Leaf does not know that the clock starts as soon as the official places it and signals it. Check the tape, the clock ran out. Leaf waited at least a full second after the official signalled time in. The stadium clock is not official, the official time is kept on the field my the man who signalled time back in.
