I am curious why you would post an e-mail you received about David Cook and his newsletter. Overlooking the fact that SI considers it inappropriate for unsolicited promotion of investment newsletters and other products, the author of that particular newsletter needs no assistance from others in terms of promotion; he is a ubiquitious presence on SI and other internet sites. Without attempting to confirm or analyze the overall record presented in the e-mail, one can tell from the history of his postings on SI that 1) TSSW is down from $4 in October (when the author was recommending it) to under $2 today...a loss of over 50%...2) GEOI is down from $4 in August (when the author was recommending it) to $2.25 today...a similar percentage loss. And 3) BIPL, which the author has been recommending for OVER a year now, closed today at $2.20, down from $3.50 in January...a loss of 38% during a year in which the Dow finished with a gain of over 20%. Again, these are facts easily obtainable by visiting the respective threads and reading the history of postings.
