Here's what you need to do.
buy another drive and install two drives on one pc.
you'll have a c: and d: drive.that's what i have on this unit.
get a quantum or a seagate drive.
get the place you buy the drive from to install it.
and have them put the windows on the new drive.
then you can easily move applications to the new drive yourself
or windows can point to that drive to(drive D:)
you'll move files and apps with explorer, but in most cases when your properties of your short cut points to the other drive then you don't need to move it.

make sure you have 32 meg plus .
any questions

by application called clean sweep to de install apps.
cost is cheap.
also, don't be afraid to compress ...it works.
