The fact they have to go back that many years to find something I was mistaken about should tell you volumes.

Something, I in fact, manned up and admitted I was wrong.

Notice how our wingnut friends never admit they were wrong? i-node, in particular, is still pushing birther nonsense. When confronted with the facts, he spins them and tries to deny them.

Ask him about the hyper-inflation he so confidently predicted almost a decade ago. I told him he was wrong and why. He just waved his hands and dropped the issue.

He still thinks Bush the Lesser is the best president we ever had. You can't get any more wrong than that.

Or the ever spiraling deficit. According to him we should have been running a trillion dollar plus deficit every year for the past 7 years.

Or...

Well, it is a very long list. He has never even acknowledged he might have gotten something wrong. He isn't man enough.

Me, I have the one incident. One I have acknowledged.

If he were unique, that would be one thing. But our wingnut brethren are psychological incapable of recognizing, much less admitting, they have ever been wrong about anything. The closest they can come is to point out all the reasons they were misled, they personally weren't at fault. A lot like Trump owning up to his birtherism by blaming the Hillary campaign. And, just like the posters here, Trump still can't let his birtherism go. He still hints about it.

It apparently is a mental thing.
