<Just browsing around the Internet and ran across this item. Shorts
everywhere....and causing grief every where they go, it appears. Thought this was
rather interesting....

Happy 1998 to all!!!>

The Scenario was very interesting. Ponder, for one minute what might happen if all serious longs on PRST were to demand stock certs as was done in this case. Would it cause mayhem if shares normally traded electronically on the journal were to revert to certs? Probably, it might turn up a few errors in the system for handling short sales and that could make a few specialists nervous.

Maybe a grass roots movement is warranted right now. Most shorts out there are probably working honestly, BUT, do you think that they trust the system? The fear of nakedness might be quite compelling.

Note that this is just an idea. I am not trying to get anyone to go out and upset the apple cart here.
