Yes. When min wage is set by the companies paying out the wage people will be hired. Artificially set by some pol at a rate that prohibits or exceeds the amount the business entity can pay ? You end up with machines instead of people.

Take a look at the under and unemployment numbers. Even a drone like you should be able to understand the results of gov intrusion into business.

Or maybe not.
