Geoff, I am new to this thread, having just discovered the potential
of Loral recently. I hate to take up thread space with inanities,
but I simply feel compelled to thank you and comment on the generally excellent content on this thread. Despite the excitement one may easily feel about Loral this thread is generally free of the BS comments like "GO LOR" or other such BS. Sir, I thank you in particular and all of you in general.
Now: to my question. I have read with interest the varying
launch rate succeses of the launch vehicles. Is it only politics or availability or WHAT that would lead Loral to choose a Zenit for example with only an 88% success rate as oppossed to a Delta with a 98%? That's puzzled me for a few days now. For the record, if I volunteer anything else on this board, I am long a thousand shres each of Loral, Airtouch, Worldcom. Thanks again, Jim Black
