Frank,

I just received my first investor relations package from AccuMed
today. It contained Vector Securities International, Inc.'s latest
report on AccuMed dated 12-5-97.

I was pleasantly suprised to see how close my estimates were to Vector
Securities. As you know, I have been working on these numbers for
the past 3 weeks while trying to read the various tea leaves. Thanks
for your input into that endeavor. I realize my projections are a
little more conservative than yours.

Check out this comparison:

Fourth Quarter 1997 Estimated EPS:
Vector Securities: (0.12)
Cisco: (0.10)

1998 Estimated EPS:
Vector Securities: (0.06)
Cisco: (0.04)

1999 Estimated EPS:
Vector Securities: 0.44

Break even:
Vector Securities: 3rd Quarter 1998
Cisco: 3rd Quarter 1998

Projected 1997 Sales Revenue:
Vector Securities: $20.1 million
Cisco: $21.0 million

Projected 1998 Sales Revenue:
Vector Securities: $34.4 million
Cisco: $35.0 million

Projected 1999 Sales Revenue:
Vector Securities: $71.5 million

12-Month Price Target:
Vector Securities: $5.00
Cisco: $5.50

Scary isn't it!

BTW, Vector Securities stated that they have renewed confidence in
the strategic direction of AccuMed.

If AccuMed hits Vector Securities' numbers for 1999, I should see you
in Hawaii about June 1999. Perhaps sooner with a few suprises!
Vector Securities' numbers are the most conservative I have seen too!

18 months is not a long time to wait for a 900% return from what this
stock was selling for earlier this week!
