Dave, welcome back. I look forward to reading your posts.

Question: if a system successfully identifies winners during backtesting using stocks that currently have IBD ratings of 80/80 or higher, how do you know that the system will keep picking winners in the future using this same group of stocks? By virtue of restricting the test group to stocks with ratings of 80/80 or better, they've gone up alot in the past in order to earn a RS rating of at least 80. Shouldn't a system bear the burden of having to prove itself with a wide universe of stocks?
