Reseller, regardless of whether or not you are part of the IOM automated response team, your claim that quality problems don't exist does little to remedy the problem. That requires concrete action and frankly, I can't simply disregard my firsthand experience or that of others not in the business of hawking these devices. Obviously we have a network with remote access and CD recorder which we use to store information which we may actually have to access at some later date. Despite that, there are occassions when the Zip drive does come in handy, provided we have a working unit. Now, the CDR disks cost less than $5 each and store up to 640 Megs of information but the drive itself costs in excess of $300. So Zip still has the price edge but when quality is an issue, I'm afraid I have to recommend the CDR -- as much as that pains me.
