  • Comcast (CMCSA) announced it will start offering a residential gigabit Internet service to customers in Oregon/SW Washington in early 2017. The company will deliver these super-fast speeds with DOCSIS 3.1 technology, which uses the existing wiring that most people already have in their homes.
