I must say that is among the most ignorant posts I've ever read. It makes me wonder who taught you that nonsense. You have no idea what civilization was based on. The foundation of civilization is democracy. And taxes are the cost of civilization.

Society always has the right to do what is in the best interest of the tribe. Society has the right to put you to death if it feels necessary. Taking some of your food away and giving it to others pales in comparison. And what do you think a progressive tax system is all about?

That is literally taking somebody's buffalo and giving them to other people. And every major democracy in the world has a progressive tax system. Everyone, because sociologists know what is the best thing for the health of the society.

The security of the tribe comes first. During the second world war when we were fighting Hitler and Japan, things like gasoline were rationed. All sorts of things were rationed, because the greater good was defeating them. Because if we didn't defeat Hitler he would've been ruling us.

I gave you the simplest concept and you couldn't understand it i.e. The health of the individual depends on the health of society. And the science of sociology knows what it takes to have a healthy society.

Whoever taught you that stuff had no idea what they were talking about.

I would advise you to read that carefully. If you want to carry on this conversation, then post something that makes sense, or ask a question. But so far all you have posted is nonsense.

<<
"This means for example, that if the tribe runs into a hard winter and people are starving, but one warrior managed to run a herd of buffalo over a cliff, the society has the right to force that individual to share that herd of buffalo with the rest of the tribe."

The meat belongs to the warrior and he sets the price for the sale of the meat. If the tribe does not like the price they can suffer the alternative of cold and starvation. The cardinal rule being the tribe cannot take the meat by force under penalty of death.

The warrior can barter and trade meat to people who make bows and axes and to tame and harness animals to carry more meat. This elevates the tribe and allows people to evolve from savagery to civilization.

Civilization did not evolve giving away free-lunches. The method you outlined destroys initiative and incentive and soon no one remembers how to tie their shoes let alone hunt.

I hope this has been helpful.
