100 bucks US a year for JK. That is 6 issues a year.

He does a more in depth analysis of management and tactics than I care to. I have found that no matter how much research you do the market tells the tale and ore in the ground does not translate into money in investor's pockets with the hoped for congruency.

As I say to everyone the road to hell and back is paved 8 lanes wide with all the newsletter writer's picks. Some credit can be given to Scott Fraser, the natural contrarian he picks long in sitautions well. If I had his staff and publishing budget, I could look fancy too.

Story people make investors feel better. JK and the Coffins fit that well.

There are some off the wall but interesting techies and fundamental guys too. Three to look at are the Hard Rock analysts (Coffin Bros.),
Investor's First and Jim Csek (TA). Csek's indicators are quite good,
but he doesn't DD the stocks just looks at their indications. It is a phenomonal predictor but you cannot say why the stocks behave that way. ------->

I tend to stock with discovery and go long on the geology and mine aspects that flow from that. I am not a pick of the month guy, so in the one month trial a lot of people don't see the value. Still more cannot fathom what there is to following a group of stock quotes day by day. Well that is how its done. Nobody picks the phone up and calls all the newsletter guys and tells them when they are going to make a move that will hit, no matter what impression the insider writers like to give you. The pulse is there in the market. That is why the day trader who knows the biz is just as well off with the end of day quotes and say an early warning indicator like Csek's than with all the commentary in the world. No company blows to me because I do not promote them and I tell the truth about their character which is not popular. But they cannot hide. I will admit I was told about Middelton's (CRN) Zinc at 60 cents. What kept me from buying in was his excess of promotional zeal that had left me short of funds all too often before. The boys who get the goods are the brokers who sign checks and sell stock. Inside clients of Canaccord had the "assays" about a week in advance.
