Cisco,

<<Scary isn't it!>>

Scary isn't the word! I think the analyst waited to see what you were coming up with, and cheat-sheeted off of your numbers.<g> If it means anything, I seriously have more faith in yours, then theirs.

<<Vector Securities stated that they have renewed confidence in the
strategic direction of AccuMed
>>

That could equate to; We (Vector) were really nervous before. We sold almost all of our share inventory into the market, and strangely enough, we have recently filled up our AccuMed-stock inventory at the "recent lows". Come and get it!. It was sure nice of them to let everyone know that they had cold-feet before, (dropped the market) and just didn't bother to remove their strong buy rating.

A projected doubling of sales revenues from 1998 to 1999 is a rather tall order. They however don't have high hopes for this quarter that just recently closed. Yikes! We were assuming...(gulp), I mean didn't you think...(gulp) that this quarter was going to do better then the
$3M & change-sales they are calling for? Oohhhh..

That could translate to; We (Vector) really, really filled up at the recent stock lows and "are gonna act-shocked" with the rest of the street when the Company beats? our numbers this quarter ...but we'll be ready for the increased activity.

<<If AccuMed hits Vector Securities' numbers for 1999, I should see you in Hawaii about June 1999. Perhaps sooner with a few surprises!>>

If my parole comes through, I should be there. The warden says "things look good".(BTW Thanks again for the letter of reference) Interesting article in this mornings Wall StreeT Journal regarding the beneficial mergers and acquisitions that have occurred this year and are expected to continue. Would that constitute as a surprise if something of that nature were to occurr?

<<18 months is not a long time to wait for a 900% return from what this stock was selling for earlier this week!>>

I can certainly do that-time standing on my hands. Besides I'll need the time to get buffed, gotta drop about fifteen lbs. The stint in the kitchen put a few pounds on me. This library assignment has its obvious benefits though. Gotta go...lights-out in 11 minutes!

Frank
