I've always wanted to ask this question, and and lo and behold, I stumbled across this cozy little forum. What better place to pose it? Most people use the expression "I could care less if so and so does such and such." Should it not be "I couldn't care less if so and so does such and such?" After all, I you could care less, by default it means you do care some, no? Perhaps a definitive answer will allow me to sleep again. What say you, Mr. B, et al?
