The theory that he meant short term buy makes more sense after seeing this list. Most of this list is of stocks that many people think are UNDERVALUED. Either we misunderstood him and he means they are buys for the short term or he is going against what most people on Wall St. think of these companies. Philips, for instance, has been featured in many articles in magazines such as Business Week saying it is undervalued since it has turned itself around and is growing earnings at 40% a year. He is really going out of a limb if he thinks these stocks are great shorts. Every once in a while a loan analyst will predict a downfall that happens (like Oxford Health) but for the most part they turn out looking extremely stupid.
