As you state, MPW is different, mostly hospitals, emergency rooms vs. long term care, skilled nursing, senior living, etc., depending which "healthcare" company one is talking about.

If looking at both as "healthcare", OHI may be the better value.

Debt is 4.9x vs. 5.1x for MPW. ( last Dec. 6.4X ).

Not much difference in current payout ratio of future low FFO estimates - MPW 68%, OHI 72%

OHI yield is higher.

OHI is currently trading at 8.65X forward low FFO estimate of 3.38.
MPW trading at 8.96X forward low FFO estimate of 1.35.

At a more normal 12X FFO OHI = $40.56 +39.2%
MPW at 12X = $16.20 +33.9%
