Actually we do know for the years of Trump's taxes that we do have on record that he avoided paying taxes.

And what we do know is also that Trump used highly dubious practices that even his own accountants questioned, and that was later explicitly outlawed by congress, to claim losses exceeding his own at-risk capital.
