I think you would like When Day Breaks. It's set in Serbia- and a man realizes, at the beginning of the movie, that the people who he thought were his parents, were actually adoptive parents- and his real parents died in a concentration camp in Belgrade. It's a highly unusual story- full of music, and atmospheric Belgrade locales which make you feel like you are there.
