Mike, the following is a cut and paste from EV's homepage ... no mention of the "Aleksinac deposit". Any comments you have would be appreciated.

The Jarandol borate deposits, located near the mining town of Baljevac in southern Serbia, have emerged as high priority targets for Erin Ventures. Active exploration of potential reserves took place in the mid-1980's but because of the Serbian-Bosnia confict, further exploration and production plans had to be shelved.

The Baljevac property consists of two principal deposits, the "Podrdjski Potok" deposit on the north side of the Jarandol basin, and the "Piskanja" deposit located on the south side of the basin. Additional reserves may exist in the 3 kilometres of untested area separating the two deposits and at "Raspopovic" some 20 kilometers to the south.

Through the joint venture agreement, Erin Ventures has secured a 50% working interest in the two borate deposits. As well, Erin has earned a further 50% interest in Electroprivreda's exclusive rights to all base metals and industrial minerals found within the Baljevac mining region.
