Greetings! J.R.,
This is only my guess! But! It appears that CVIA is basically in a "holding pattern" until we hear more specific details of the merger/acquisition announcements!
Just to reinforce something that I have already posted previously! Jack Arnold recently indicated that he felt that we might see another news release by mid-January! ( Subject to change!)
By the low volume of CVIA shares that traded on Friday, January 2, 1998! It almost appears that most CVIA Shareholders appear to be prepared to sit tight, and wait for more CVIA news, before considering their next steps! ( Just my own opinion!)
In my opinion if it does turn into a waiting game, then the shareholders that have been following the CVIA Scenario closely, and are patiently waiting for the next news release, will have (I feel!) a more enjoyable time of it! Then the MM's that try to generate greater trading volumes, by sending the bid and ask price of CVIA Shares on daily scary rollercoaster rides!----That we are getting more accustomed to seeing!
As a guess I would say, that any CVIA investors that have occassionally been drawn in by the MM's and have sold before getting the final outcome news release on the CVIA merger scenario, have pretty well been weeded out! ( Please keep in mind that I am not judging any one whether they have chosen to buy, sell, or whatever! As far as CVIA is concerned!)
As I see it! We are now into "overtime!" or "extra innings!"
The existing CVIA Shareholders have been "resting" and "freshening up" over the Christmas and New Year Holiday Season, in efforts to be prepared to do "Battle!" starting Monday , January 5th., 1998!
In closing! I'm hoping that the "PATIENCE" that we have been demonstrating over the past few months! ( Some of us much longer! And at higher prices!)----will begin to pay us some rewards!
There is "ONE MAJOR KNOWN"---- and-----"ONE MAJOR UNKNOWN"-------that can present themselves to us over the next period of time!
" THE MAJOR KNOWN?" ---- is the fact that the lowest our CVIA Investment can drop/decline is .0312cents per share! That is the most that we can lose! In the worst case CVIA scenario! From this point forward! If we choose to stay in the "High Risk CVIA Stakes!".
"THE MAJOR UNKNOWN?"----Do we know what the highest point that our CVIA investment could achieve under the guise of some positive merger / acquisition results! In my opinion! NO!!!
SO! Far! In my own opinion! I know of no reason to jump the CVIA Ship!!!!
I know it is a very difficult thing to do! But I will try my upmost not to be watching the every breath that CVIA Share trading takes, until I either see some "Red Flags" regarding CVIA!----OR!------Some specific news releases relating to the CVIA developments!
Beyond that! The only CVIA share trading/pricing that I would expect to see, is the ongoing games being played by the MM's! ( And no disrespect intended for the MM's or any other stock traders, they have to earn a living, just like the rest of us! This just happens to be the way that they have chosen their career calling!)
Well! I probably went a little overboard in expressing my own opinion, on how I feel we could possibly see the scenario unfolding!
Here is wishing everyone the strength and fortitude to make the decision that is right for them , at the time that is right for them!
GOOD FORTUNE TO ALL!
Let's Keep Our Finger's Crossed And Keep Our Eye's And Ear's Open!
Best Regards,
