Hi-
I don't know how many people on this thread play the Canadian penny
stocks. My comments about diamonds were mainly geared towards those
stocks. If you look at some of the threads from yesterday, you will
see that the juniors that had the nice moves and the volumes were
primarily diamond stocks in the Buffalo Hills...that is why I started
a thread for it..to know what stocks to track.
I have learned that it doesn't matter about fundamentals short term.
Capital doesn't seem to care.
I have been extremely frustrated. Back when I knew we were headed
toward deflation and currency collapses, I thought with currency
collapses, gold would be restored to maintain an honest anchor. It
didn't happen. Notice that papers never mention people on fixed income.
Papers never mention all the people who have had their living costs
escalate. People don't care that the earnings growth of some of
the multinationals is related to lower interest expenses, parttime
workers, tax breaks, and share buybacks to lower the divisor.
I have been told that there is an oversupply of diamonds but DeBeers
has hidden them in their vaults to keep up their worth.
Most of the people on this thread know that we are in a paper mania
and the continued policies of the central bankers are going against
the forces of nature. Eventually gold will return after a lot of
mass destruction of people's standard of living. Wonder how the
Koreans feel towards us now? Don't think they think of the IMF as a
savior but as a cruel devil.
I think the cold war was a stabilizing factor in the world. Now
we have so many internal trouble spots around the world. Nobody cares if it doesn't affect them. Currently if you don't go along with flow, you get crucified. We
are witnessing a two class system developing in the USA and nobody
cares.
I am looking for some fundamental announcement from a world power
to start gold moving again. Soros had his chance and didn't.
Templeton didn't. There is still too much money out there and to many
other places to get great returns. Gold is just sleeping
