Thanks. Whenever we have a situation in our Society that is generally recognized as ridiculous, harmful, expensive and undesireable,and that condition goes on and on, we must assume that is because of what I call the "P-word" --POLITICS. The tort system is not the only one. Think about all the other problem areas: health care, education, crime, welfare, governmental waste... Billions of dollars to "bail out" other countries whose politicians have done stupid things and deserve to fail. Billions of dollars to "defend" our country against those Bosnians who are about to invade, I guess, and take over our country (yeah, right). No, all these machinations are done to protect "trade" which means big business and their CEOs with millions in options and lots of contributions to both parties.
Time for a THIRD PARTY! Anybody know how to get a movement started? I'm ready to get radical. T. Jefferson would approve, I'm sure.
