Yeah, I wonder if the stock market reaction is justified.

Trump is bad for stocks
- Protectionist trade policies
- Uncertain "Who the hell is this guy?" factor. Perhaps the whole world is going to hell!
- Removal of cheap illegal immigrant labor (this will probably affect small business, not S&P 500 stocks)
- I think he wants interest rates to rise regardless of economic growth, not really sure on this one

Trump is good for stock
- Less regulation (cancel Obamacare, no minimum wage hike, etc.)
- Overseas cash repatriation tax holiday?
- Tax cut (I think, not really sure)

I'm not sure Donald Trump should be all that bad for the stock market. Uncertainty is the big killer for tomorrow's open, and the protectionist trade policies are the long term problem. You think he's really going to put a 45% tax on iPhones imported from China? Hopefully not.

Interesting times......
