I read some more posts......hey, bring on the 300!! Just so we know ahead of time. I think I have a line on a good motel/hotel that is fairly reasonable and they could take that many. There is, of course, a point of diminishing returns, and we don't want presenters going in and out of 4-5 presentations because they won't get to hear anything. I really want to have a good "book" of written material that supports the presentations WELL before the event, and therefore will have to have an idea of presenters BY THE END OF MARCH!! (oops, you're beginning to see what you're in for with me doing this...and I'm not afraid to arbitrarily assign topics to people with limited rights of refusal). An actual written document that "comes out" of the event might have to be researched with regard to copyright law, ie... would John Bollinger have a cow if we published something using Bollinger Bands, etc... That is not my field, but if there are any legal types out there (hey, I could check with Al Stephens), that person could research the possibilities. Anyway, the TA - 1998 thread will be re-opened soon and I hope we can talk about these issues there.
