Sun, it's easy at this point to say that Sanders would have won, especially for those who were Sanders supporters from the start. But there's no telling how he really would have fared had he had to run a campaign against Trump & the Republican Party. Who knows what the Reps had in their oppo file on Sanders? Or to put it another way - after 10 rounds a fresh fighter always looks better than either of the opponents in a boxing match.

That said HRC was anything but a transformative candidate. Her strengths - experience and years of service - became her weaknesses. More than ever the electorate wanted "change you can believe in".
