You are wrong. Bernie did not excite African American voters- who were our primary problem- down 9% or more. This election boiled down to race. Obama energized African American voters and we didn't have a candidate that would have energized them- and Bernie was a big turn off to anyone over 40. Conservative dem women wouldn't have come out heavily for him. I know it's always fun to play the blame game- but in this case the real answer is, America is Trump. This is the guy who reflects what America wants- and orange reality TV star. America just happens to be a lot uglier and stupider than many of us thought it was. And that's good to know. At least we can make money off that.
