A collective state of denial. A few thoughts:
The size of Trump's rallies:
Media and most Democrats totally discounted those. 'Hillary's supporters don't go to those.' Oh really? I started to get worried when I saw they were relying on entertainers to get people to show up. Bernie had big rallies. Hillary seldom did, unless she had high profile help.

Yard Signs: As I shared with a few people, on a trip in September through the midwest, I decided to count yard signs.
There were 36 for Trump and 3 for Clinton. Yes, unscientific and yes, no yard signs on the interstates. But central Ohio was full of
Trump signs. (a detour forced us to drive secondary roads for 200 miles)

Pollsters need to re-examine their methods. They were flat out wrong. Just as wrong as the Brexit polls. They'll probably need
to send more human beings out into the field to talk directly with more human beings, rather than rely on phone calls. About half the
people I know, now are unreachable by phone.. unless they want to be.

Corporate Media: Had media practiced basic journalism from the beginning, Trump's propensity to lie might have broken through.
Instead cable news constantly ran uncritical live video of Trump. And what Trump had to say was obviously what many people wanted
to hear. He spoke in clear, easy to understand concepts. The Wall. Stop Muslims from coming into the country. Law and Order. Hillary's
health. Things that low IQ people could grasp.
Hillary had some good specifics but she didn't articulate them very well. Go to her website? Oh please.

For the second time in recent history we have elected a candidate based on his abilities as an actor.
What will the 'Real Trump' be like? I am most worried about the future of life on earth: The environment. And if you're not,
you're probably in denial, or don't understand science.
