re. PM. That was a well-timed sale. Tobacco stocks are down, it is said because electorate has again voted increase state taxes (esp. California, a big market). This has happened before in the voting cycle, and the tobacco stocks have eventually recovered each time. I assume though there is a limit where the taxes are just too high.
Anyway, I continue to hold my shares (should have sold -- California tax was widely anticipated), and I'm adding a bit to my few shares of VGR now (7.5% yield, with dividend increasing each year).
