I have the ability to move away from this shitshow if I need to. Perhaps that makes it easier. I've no loyalty to any country beyond- "What are you doing for me now, and what can you do for me tomorrow?" In that sense, I sympathize with Trump and the Trumpian ethos- but what's "good" for me doesn't get me to the same places it gets Trump. We've come at the problem from different angles. I don't think the rich will ever trickle down enough to float the boats of the poor (yachts need soooo much more water, it's hard to spare a dime.) And so it goes. But I have found that even the most negative events can have amazing consequences for you, personally, if you allow them to energize you and make you try new things. But that's my life experience. Yours may be different.
