Thanks for the English/grammar thread, incidentally, Jack. I think the word "none" can be singular or plural, but thinking about it gave me a headache. Since I majored in English, I had a lifetime dose of this stuff during my formative years, and am more interested now in the quality of communication rather than the words people use, or the way they spell and punctuate them, for that matter. Since you are relatively new here, you probably don't know that some people used to post to me and say they were afraid to talk to me because I might correct their English usage or something!!!! I sure hope no one still feels that way!!!!!!
