Sounds like you certainly have the risk tolerance and understand the markets enough to ride out the storms. The problem with forums such as this is that many folks with a low tolerance for risk, read about stocks such as PM. They buy it and then declines , panic and sell only to watch it rebound later on. You understand markets and know the risks. I may reestablish a position at some point but looking at a 5 year chart that may be 10 -15 points lower.

Just my personal reference as well but I like diversification across many sectors and tr to avoid undue concentration.

Most of the people i see smoking are from lower economic groups. As some states raise taxes to very high levels, it creates am "underground market" in cigarettes where as folks cross into a neighboring state and make money on the spread by buying in the lower tax state and then selling in the higher tax state.

I kind of see Mary Jane following a similar path as big tobacco.
