Joseph, and it never will happen again.

I guarantee you that a few programmers will write code using only two digits for years sometime during the year 2000, and I am confident that the practice (by software users and creators) of assuming the century to be a constant "20" will become widespread by 2005 (there is nothing wrong with this practice, BTW, as long as you are always right).

I am also certain there will again be some kind century roll-over problems in 2099. Even if there is no more COBOL, and VB is ubiquitous. (0.01 probability)
