Great post Kemble. One theory has it that a difference between civilized nations and backward nations is the availabiliy of sugar. Sugar being the main food needed by the brain means that if you load it up with sugar by drinking coke, add a primer (caffeine) by drinking another coke, and then touch it off with nicotine you have mental dynamite.
