We are royally screwed. If Hillary had been elected, she would've brought stability and a platform for the left to move left. And the dem party would have moved left as the base of the party and the country is left. But now I see pretty much no hope for the people for the rest of my life. AND GREaT GREAT DANGER! We have just lost all our power to stop the RW abuses. That is how important this election was. I would guess the Trump voters have no idea of the hell they just created for all of us. That is what a travesty this election was. The Supreme Court will be set with sociopaths and gangsters and right wing crazy people for the next 30 years. Had Hillary gotten in, she would've appointed normal vanilla competent jurists. Exactly the type of people you want seen on the Supreme Court. Trump will appoint people to reflect his reality, which is that of a sociopath and basic criminal. We can't get the house back until 2020, if then, and we can't get the Senate back until at least 2020, if then. Unless we get the great depression before then, which is possible. We have no way to stop the excesses that we are about to witness, for example the raiding of our treasury, just like Reagan and Bush did, and destruction of the social safety net that will be completed more effectively than any previous Republican has managed to pull off. Our foreign policy is going to be a nightmare with guys like John Bolton. I could even see them pulling out of NATO. And he will strengthen ties with Putin and god only knows what those two are going to get up to. The next four years are not only going to be horribly depressing, but they are going to be very scary. America will have no sanity in control.
