Sorry, keeping no pre-existing conditions is not a minor option. It is the reason for all of the parts you don't like. Because real economics demands it. Universal or near universal coverage is the only way it will work.

I know the Right isn't very good at reality. But when the Heritage Foundation first crafted what became Romneycare and later Obamacare, they had people who actually took reality into consideration. That was a couple of decades ago and there were still people like that on the Right.I think most, if not all of them have been drummed out of the movement, though.

I don't expect you to understand this, though.
