Dave's kick at the numbers. Only lets add copper, after all its there.

Cu @ 2% = 0.02 ton * $1750US/ton = $35.00us/ton
Zn @3.5% = 0.035 ton * $1080us/ton = $37.80us/ton
Pb @ 1% = 0.01 ton * $532us/ton = $5.32us/ton
Ag @ 2oz = 1.8oz * $6.05us/ton = $10.97us/ton

In the ground gross metal value = $89.09us/ton

Realized recovery including Cu based on the article:

Cu @ 60% * $35.00 = $21.00us/ton
Zn @ 45% * $37.80 = $17.01us/ton
Pb @ 35% * $ 5.32 = $ 1.86us/ton
Ag @ 90% * $10.97 = $ 9.87us/ton

Realized gross value $ 49.74us/ton

Less U/G mining & transportation - $21.00us/ton

Net value of $28.74us/ton

Value of 20 million ton deposit-- 20,000,000*$28.74us/ton=$574,800,000

Value per share-- $574,800,000/32,000,000 = $17.96us/share or
$24.86cdn/share

Note:
Metal values from TNM Jan.4/98
Copper grade assumed
Exchange rate year avg. @1.384
Share value using 32 million not 28 million as per article

Based on my evaluation the stock is grossly undervalued, however I don't know where the author of the Investors First article came up with a cap of 20 million tons? PROBLEMS WITH THAT ARTICLE, BE CAREFUL!!!
